Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide group therapy as needed and lead wellness workshops.
• Maintain accurate client records and scheduling with company software.
• Collaborate with other Bloom Mind + Body Co. practitioners to ensure holistic care.

Job Title: Independent Contractor – Part Time Licensed Counselor (LPC, PLPC, or LCSW)

Position Overview: We are seeking a fully licensed counselor or social worker. (Pre-licensed practitioners will be considered, providing own supervision). The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about holistic health, skilled in wellness practices, and committed to helping women achieve their health goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Care:

Provide individual therapy to adolescents and adults, addressing a variety of issues including, but not limited to, health and wellness goals, trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress management

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as somatic therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Provide group therapy as needed and desired

Attend or lead (based on interest) of workshops and wellness pop-ups

Administrative Duties:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and session notes in accordance with professional standards and company policies

Use our company software to manage scheduling and ensure timely appointments

Other administrative needs such as marketing, social media planning, etc. will be determined between owners and contractor as needed

Collaboration and Teamwork:

Work collaboratively with other practitioners at Bloom, including massage therapists, owners, coaches, and counselors, to provide comprehensive care for clients

Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to ensure integrated and holistic treatment approaches

Ethical and Legal Standards:

Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the practice of counseling and social work, maintaining client confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work

Licensing requirements PLPC, LPC, LCSW (if PLPC, you will need to have an outside Supervisor)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Passion for holistic health and wellness

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Flexibility to work daytime hours & 1-2 nights per week

Previous experience in a wellness or health-related role preferred
