Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems, Inc. seeks a qualified counselor for its Inpatient CSS Program in Weymouth, MA. Full-time position with Tue-Sat 8 am - 4:30 pm, including a late day 11 am - 7 pm.

You will provide documented individual and group clinical services, perform intake assessments, and develop treatment plans in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, potential LADC I or CADAC certification, at least one year of supervised counseling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of one year supervised counseling experience in substance abuse or related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic computer skills to use electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Providing documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health, substance abuse, or dual diagnosis problems.
• Performing intake assessments and completes all associated documentation within required time frames.
• Providing quality clinical services and case management in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical design and regulatory bodies.
• Developing, implementing, and revising individual treatment plans for assigned clients in established time frames with client participation.
• Interacting effectively with clients, staff, families, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Pay rate

$25.00-$28.00/ hour

The Counselor Is Responsible For

• Providing documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health, substance abuse, or dual diagnosis problems.
• Performing intake assessments and completes all associated documentation within required time frames.
• Providing quality clinical services and case management to assigned clients in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical design and in compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory bodies.
• Developing, implementing, and revising individual treatment plans for assigned clients in established time frames with the participation of the client.
• Demonstrating a satisfactory level of interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, families, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required
• LADC I or CADAC certification preferred
• Minimum of one-year supervised counseling experience in the substance abuse treatment or closely related field required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must have basic ability in use of computers sufficient to utilize electronic health records
