Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems in Weymouth, MA is seeking a Full-Time counselor for the Inpatient Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS) Program. You will provide documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health or substance use issues, and conduct intake assessments with timely documentation.

The role requires at least a bachelor’s degree, with LADC I or CADAC preferred and a minimum of one year of supervised counseling experience.

Qualifications

• LADC I or CADAC certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year supervised counseling experience in substance abuse or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide documented individual and group clinical services and case management.
• Perform intake assessments and complete documentation within required time frames.
• Deliver quality clinical services and case management in accordance with Spectrum’s design and regulatory standards.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans with client participation.
• Maintain interpersonal interactions with clients, staff, families, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Providing documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health, substance abuse, or dual diagnosis problems.
• Performing intake assessments and completes all associated documentation within required time frames.
• Providing quality clinical services and case management to assigned clients in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical design and in compliance with all licensing, accreditation, and regulatory bodies.
• Developing, implementing, and revising individual treatment plans for assigned clients in established time frames with the participation of the client.
• Demonstrating a satisfactory level of interpersonal skills to interact with clients, staff, families, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required
• LADC I or CADAC certification preferred
• Minimum of one-year supervised counseling experience in the substance abuse treatment or closely related field required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Must have basic ability in use of computers sufficient to utilize electronic health records
