Job summary

Copa Health is seeking a dedicated clinician to join our Florian counseling team in Arizona. The role involves assessing needs, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to support mental and emotional well-being.

As part of our community-based services, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain thorough documentation, and uphold confidentiality. This on-site position emphasizes compassionate care and ongoing professional growth within Copa Health.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree plus 1-2 years of behavioral health experience.
  • Must be licensed at the associate level and working towards independent licensure by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (LAC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW).
  • Experience in community behavioral health with high-acuity members is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DSM IV, State SMI checklist, Community Resources, Psychotropic Medication, Crisis Intervention, Clinical Methods and Procedures, and Intervention Techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Provides services including assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, group therapy, coordination of care with members, and staffing meetings as appropriate.
  • Monitor and evaluate members’ progress and provide ongoing assessment and feedback.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Completes and maintains all clinical documentation in a timely manner in accordance with Copa Health’s policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.

  • Experience providing counseling and therapy in a community behavioral health setting with high-acuity members is highly preferred.
  • Good academic and working knowledge of DSM IV, State SMI checklist, Community Resources, Psychotropic Medication, Crisis Intervention, Clinical Methods and Procedures, and Intervention Techniques
  • Cultural sensitivity and a commitment to providing care to a diverse community.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card and any other required background checks.
