Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, criminal justice education or closely related field is required.
• CADC, LADC II or other comparable certification/license or equivalent experience with substance use treatment groups/services preferred.
• Experience working with justice-involved individuals and/or in a correctional setting preferred.
• Knowledge of SUD/MAT population and experience working with justice-involved individuals in a correctional setting.
• Staff must be able to pass extensive background check and pass drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Providing psychoeducation and evidence-based treatment to offenders according to the approved curriculum and completing all required documentation in the case record (OMS).
• Facilitating 2-3 groups daily, based on current scheduling.
• Demonstrating the ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities and complete duties in the allotted time.
• Arriving for work on time and adhering to the program’s attendance policies.
• Working cooperatively with SCSD personnel to ensure smooth operation and coordination of the program.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in human services, criminal justice education or closely related field

Location: Boston, MA – Bradston Street, Suffolk County House of Corrections
Schedule: Monday‑Friday 8:00 am‑4:00 pm
Pay rate: $28.85 /hour
