Seattle University invites applications for the Director of Counseling Field Experience and Compliance to lead CACREP-aligned practicum and internship programs across the Counseling Department. You will design, implement, and assess field experiences, supervise sites, and ensure timely graduate outcomes.

The role emphasizes ethical practice, licensure readiness, and collaboration with faculty, site supervisors, and regulatory bodies within a hybrid work arrangement on campus.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a CACREP-accredited counselor education program.
• Experience as instructor of record in master’s or doctorate-level counseling instruction.
• Familiarity with CACREP field placement and regulations.
• Knowledge of licensure/certification policy and state statutes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical training processes for practicum and internship programs.
• Collaborate with instructors to align field experiences with CACREP requirements.
• Develop PPCT manuals, goals, policies, and procedures for students and site supervisors.
• Monitor and address student academic, skills, and disposition concerns.
• Provide orientation for site supervisors on CACREP supervision and field requirements.
• Ensure ethical guidelines and licensure disclosures are maintained.
• Maintain partnerships with diverse community agencies and stakeholders.
• Ensure site affiliation agreements and successful clinical evaluations.
