Job summary

Seattle University seeks a Director of Counseling Field Experience and Compliance to lead CACREP-aligned practicum and internship programs across the Counseling Department. You will design, implement, and continuously improve field experiences with rigorous supervision, ensuring ethical practice and timely degree completion.

You will manage accreditation processes, supervise licensure disclosures across states, and collaborate with faculty, site supervisors, and CACREP liaison to meet program

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in CACREP-accredited program.
• Experience as instructor of record in master’s/doctoral level counseling.
• Familiarity with CACREP field placement and field experience.
• Knowledge of licensure policy and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in higher education or mental health settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical training practicum and internship operations and evaluation.
• Collaborate with instructors to ensure alignment with CACREP standards.
• Develop and maintain PPCT manuals and supervision policies.
• Monitor student progress and address academic or professional issues.
• Coordinate licensure disclosures and post-graduation pathways.
• Maintain CACREP accreditation documentation and liaison support.
