Job summary

You will interpret laws and coordinate FOIL responses, contributing to litigation support and training activities. Required is NYS Bar admission and four years of post‑admission experience.

Qualifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum four years of professional legal experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and recommendations to Executive and management teams.
• Communicate legal advice to staff.
• Draft, review, or approve contracts as needed.
• Assist in development of internal policies and procedures.
• Interpret laws, rules, and regulations; conduct legal research.
• Monitor FOIL activities and coordinate with agency offices.
