Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Counsel to join its Market Engagement & Sales pillar for the Extended Care segment, providing practical, business-aligned legal support on customer-facing agreements and growth initiatives.

This role partners with Sales, Operations, Compliance, Privacy, Finance, and Pricing to address regulatory and commercial risk, draft and negotiate agreements, and help shape contracting templates and processes in a hybrid Richmond, VA posting.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and interpreting commercial agreements.
• Ability to provide clear, practical, business-oriented legal guidance.
• Strong judgment balancing risk and business objectives.
• Ability to work independently in a matrixed enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, risk-based legal advice supporting day-to-day operations and growth for the Extended Care segment.
• Draft, review, analyze, and negotiate customer-facing agreements (product supply, service, discount, rebate, rental).
• Support stakeholders in long-term care, home health and hospice markets.
• Identify legal issues early and provide practical paths forward.
• Develop templates and contracting processes to improve speed and consistency.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Regulatory, Privacy, Finance, Pricing.
