The position requires independent analysis, discretion with confidential matters, and the ability to navigate ethics and Open Meeting Law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, public or business administration, political science, or related field and 4 years of professional management support experience.
• Master’s Degree preferred and may substitute for 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional analytical, project management, and strategic support to the Mayor and Town Council.
• Coordinate Council initiatives and manage special assignments; respond to constituent inquiries.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for Council meetings and official functions.
• Oversee logistics of Council meetings, workshops, retreats, conferences, and events.
• Maintain compliance with statutory requirements, ethics standards, Open Meeting Law, and Town policies.
• Serve as liaison between residents, departments, and elected officials; exercise sound judgment and discretion.
