Job summary

Town of Queen Creek in Arizona seeks a professional-level analyst to provide strategic support to the Mayor and Town Council. You will coordinate initiatives, prepare reports, and serve as liaison between elected officials, departments, stakeholders, and residents.

The role requires independent analysis of complex issues, discretion with confidential matters, and collaboration across internal and external partners to advance Council priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of professional management support experience; Master’s preferred with substitution for one year.
• Knowledge of municipal administration and public involvement processes.
• Strong written and oral communication, research, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors applicable laws, codes, and policies and ensures town compliance.
• Develops staff reports, presentations, and council briefings; coordinates calendars/events.
• Assists with budget reports and policy/policy-administration improvements.
• Researches complex issues, analyzes data, and makes policy recommendations.
• Coordinates and manages Council meetings, workshops, and official events.
• Acts as liaison between residents, departments and elected officials.
