Job summary

Sweetwater, TX-based Plains-Cotton-Cooperative-Association is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for our warehouse division. The role involves unloading, loading, pulling orders, and moving cotton bales with emphasis on safety and accurate inventory placement.

You will operate lift trucks, perform routine maintenance tasks, and assist in building and grounds upkeep. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are preferred; basic computer and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business materials.
• Experience operating lift equipment or forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, and move cotton bales in warehouse.
• Pull orders and assist in breakout and packing.
• Sort and locate bales for inventory and shipping.
• Maintain daily lift truck checklist.
• Assist in routine maintenance and grounds work.
• Support fire prevention and maintenance activities as needed.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
