Job summary

PCCA in Clearwater, KS is seeking a Machine Operator I to unload, load, and move cotton bales using a lift truck. This role supports warehouse operations and ensures accurate handling of materials.

Responsibilities include operating gasoline, propane, or electric lift trucks, stacking products, and assisting with general plant maintenance as needed. Hands-on, safety-conscious candidates preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to effectively utilize cell phones, email, tablets, and computers.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license or have the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• To perform this job successfully, must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily after training.

Responsibilities

• Operates and drives gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial truck with lifting devices to move products in warehouse or factory.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control lifting movement.
• Positions forks or lifting devices and transports loads to designated areas.
• Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
• May inventory materials and assist with material supply to workers.
