Job summary

National Sugar Marketing Cooperative in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator 1 to perform general warehouse duties including receiving, storing, and shipping materials efficiently and safely.

You will handle shipments, organize inventory, pick/pack orders, operate forklifts and other equipment, and support counts and safety programs. This role requires a high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred but not required.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
