Job summary

Lakeside Chautauqua in Marblehead, OH, seeks a Cottage Rentals Manager to lead our short-term cottage rental program, overseeing guest services, owner relations, rental operations, staff scheduling, and financial tasks.

The Manager serves as the primary contact for cottage owners and guests, ensuring hospitality excellence, coordinating seasonal openings and closings, and supervising cleaning and support staff throughout the busy Chautauqua season.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience in property management or hospitality is preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and common office software is required.
• Experience in customer service and supervisory roles is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cottage rental operations and guest services.
• Oversee owner relations and rental staff scheduling.
• Coordinate seasonal opening/closing and property readiness.
• Handle financial processing, reporting, and owner payments.
• Maintain records, and ensure compliance with policies.
