Job summary

Belmont University in Nashville is seeking a Student Employee to tutor children in math and reading for the current academic year. The role is paid at $18.00 per hour and requires enrollment as a Belmont student with Federal Work-Study eligibility.

Responsibilities include homework help, life-skills activities, arts and recreation support, plus general program setup and cleanup. Office tasks may also be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is an asset but not necessary.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Working directly with children K-Grade 8 as a math and reading tutor.
• Homework help/tutoring, assisting with life-skills classes, arts, music, recreation.
• General program set-up, cleanup, etc.
• Possible related office-work.

Required Qualifications A willingness to learn and give of yourself, plus a desire to help children.

Candidate must have been awarded and accepted FWS to be considered.

Required Education Must be enrolled as a current student at Belmont University. Student must have Federal Work Study for the current academic year.

Required Experience Experience working with children is an asset but not necessary.
