Job summary

Trilogy Health Services in Ohio is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support therapy services under supervision across campus locations, home health and outpatient care.

You will document progress, evaluate responses, and help develop patient education with the OT, while contributing to cost-effective, quality resident care. Travel to designated sites is required and six months of training supports onboarding.

Qualifications

• OT assistant supports therapy under OT supervision.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration for program development.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic interventions as directed by the occupational therapist in campus locations, home health and/or outpatient care.
• Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the team.
• Documents the course of patient care including progress and need for treatment.
• Collaborates with the occupational therapist to develop education methods for patients and families.
• Assists with in-service/cross-training on OT knowledge and skills as needed.
• Contributes to cost-effective care delivery.
• Reports resident complaints or incidents to supervisors immediately.
• Travels to other campus locations and/or home health assignments as required.
• Maintains resident rights and professional competencies.
• Participates in survey preparation activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
