Job summary

Park Meadows Health & Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, FL, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic rehab team. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and opportunities to mentor new staff in a busy, patient-centered setting.

As an essential member of the multidisciplinary team, you will implement therapy plans, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to maximize independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active and current COTA certification in Florida.
• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Healthcare or rehab experience preferred but mentoring offered.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized therapy programs to improve daily living skills, mobility, and independence.
• Collaborate with the OT to deliver interventions and adaptive training.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes for treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and tools.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-equipped therapy space.
