Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Florida COTA license in good standing required.
• CPR certification preferred or required upon hire per facility policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising OT.
• Implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs and independence.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in EMR.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and participate in planning meetings.
• Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for adaptive equipment.
