Job summary

Gilroy Healthcare Center in Gilroy, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support the OT team in delivering resident-centered therapy. Under OT supervision, you will implement therapy plans and document progress.

We welcome new graduates as well as experienced therapists. A CA COTA license in good standing is required; PDPM knowledge and strong teamwork are valued. We offer competitive pay, paid training, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred, but new graduates and newly licensed assistants are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of PDPM and basic documentation standards.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to resident-centered care.
• Physical ability to safely assist residents with mobility and therapeutic exercises.
