Job summary

Northgate Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support and implement therapy programs that help patients regain independence and improve their quality of life. Qualifications

State of Iowa COTA license required.
Experience preferred; new grads welcome.
Strong communication and patient-care focus.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
Help patients regain strength and independence in daily activities through targeted therapy exercises.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout sessions.
