Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. You will support the Occupational Therapist, help residents regain independence in daily living activities, and contribute to a patient-centered care plan.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Tennessee COTA license.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused care approach.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents
• Provide therapy services to help patients regain independence in daily living activities
• Document treatment sessions accurately and timely in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Monitor and report patient progress or concerns to the Occupational Therapist
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Uphold all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures
