The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The COTA will work under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents improve daily living skills, independence, and quality of life.

This position offers full-time or part-time opportunities with a collaborative, patient-centered environment that values teamwork and clinical excellence.

Qualifikationen

• Active Florida COTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities or rehab settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to help residents improve functional independence and daily living skills.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Accurately document treatments and resident responses in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements.
• Assist residents with activities related to mobility, self-care, coordination, strength, and adaptive techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support positive resident outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and treatment goals as directed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
