Job summary

DeBary Health & Rehabilitation Center in Florida is seeking a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support patient rehabilitation under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans and facilitating recovery.

You will participate in evaluations, help set goals, conduct individual and group sessions, document progress, and communicate updates to the OT.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in patient evaluations and assessments as needed.
• Support the development and execution of individualized treatment plans, including short-term and long-term goals.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Communicate patient progress and any concerns to the Occupational Therapist.
• Document patient treatment and progress in medical records.

Education
