Job summary

New Port Richey Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. You will provide therapy under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and help implement individualized treatment plans to support patient rehab and recovery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Active state licensure as a COTA is required.
• Current CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Occupational Therapy services as directed by the supervising OT.
• Assist in patient evaluations and assessments as needed.
• Support development and execution of individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals.
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions under OT supervision.
• Communicate patient progress and concerns to the OT.
• Document patient treatment and progress in medical records.
