Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) licensed in Texas.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Veterans Home settings preferred.
• Knowledge of SNF or Veterans Healthcare regulations and general healthcare compliance.
• Demonstrates compassion and dedication to patient care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate rehabilitation of patients with physical or emotional disabilities.
• Implement occupational therapy care plans.
• Coordinate care with the broader care team.
• Educate patients and family members on therapy goals.
• Prepare timely, complete, and accurate clinical notes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and support staff.
