Job summary

Nexus at Westmont is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence, safety, and quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities include planning and administering rehabilitation programs, providing skilled interventions, educating residents and families, and maintaining high standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in SNF or long-term care settings.
• Strong knowledge of current treatment practices and therapy interventions.
• Ability to manage a diverse patient caseload with professionalism and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer treatment programs for residents and patients to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding therapy goals, techniques, and outcomes.
• Demonstrate competent technical skills consistent with current COTA standards of practice.
