Cypress Pointe Health & Wellness is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our facility team in Houston, TX. The role focuses on facilitating rehabilitative therapy, implementing care plans, and coordinating with the care team to support patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas COTA license, have SNF or Veterans Home experience preferred, and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork. Comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) licensed in Texas.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing or Veterans Home settings preferred.
• Knowledge of SNF or Veterans Healthcare regulations and general healthcare compliance.
• Demonstrates compassion and dedication to patient care.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate rehabilitation of patients with physical or emotional disabilities.
• Implement occupational therapy care plans.
• Coordinate care with the broader care team.
• Educate patients and family members on therapy goals.
• Prepare timely, complete, and accurate clinical notes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and support staff.
