Job summary

Athena Health Care Systems is hiring full-time and per diem Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) to join our care team at The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Wareham, MA—a 4-star nursing home. The position offers 30 hours per week, up to $35 per hour with weekly pay and benefits.

As a COTA, you assist in data collection and provide direct treatment under an OT, participating in program development.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.
• Must maintain state licensure as required by licensing body.
• Newly licensed COTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident treatments under physician order according to care plan.
• Document activities and care provided in the clinical documentation system.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement activities.
• Collaborate with supervisor, rehab staff, residents and caregivers.
