HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) PRN to support patient-centered goals and rehabilitation services. The role involves assisting with ADLs/IADLs, documenting progress, and adapting therapy under OT supervision to optimize outcomes.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy, a current Florida COTA license, and BLS certification, with preferred healthcare experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifikationen

• Associates degree in Occupational Therapy from American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• Current Florida COTA license
• Current BLS through American Heart Association
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and interpersonal communication skills; able to read and follow written and verbal instructions; basic PC skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with frequent lifting up to 25 lbs

Aufgaben

• Follow established treatment plans to set measurable goals for ADLs and IADLs for maximum functional independence.
• Record, monitor and review clinical data; provide feedback to the OT for plan modifications.
• Adapt therapeutic techniques under OT supervision to meet patient needs.
• Participate in rounds and respond to patient needs to improve outcomes and experience.
