HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital in Walterboro, SC invites a COTA to join as PRN to support the treatment plan under the Occupational Therapist. You will collaborate with the care team to assess, educate, and document patient progress, contributing to positive outcomes in acute care and rehab settings.

Qualified candidates will have graduation from an accredited OTA program, state licensure as a COTA, and BLS certification. Inpatient experience is preferred; benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.
• Must be licensed as a COTA in the practicing state.
• AHA or Red Cross BLS Health Care Provider certification required.
• Prior acute care and/or inpatient rehab experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine condition, limitations, histories and goals.
• Teach patients to operate equipment supporting therapeutic progress and well-being.
• Provide education to patient and family and document the therapy process.
