Job summary

Brushy Creek Post Acute in Greer, SC, is seeking a Compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) on a PRN basis to join our rehabilitation team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help residents improve function and independence through individualized treatments.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in OTA from an accredited program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Experience with PCC and Casamba preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn facility software and documentation systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments as directed by the supervising OT.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living to improve independence.
• Implement and monitor treatment plans and progress.
• Document treatments and resident responses accurately.
• Support discharge planning and caregiver education.
