Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Tomball is seeking a qualified COTA PRN to join our hospital team in Tomball, TX. You will provide rehabilitation services under the supervision of an Licensed Therapist, delivering care across the lifespan per approved plans.

Required Texas licensure (COTA) and BLS certification; an Associate degree and at least one year of COTA experience preferred. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling within a comprehensive benefits package.

• Texas licensure (COTA) and BLS certification are required.
• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant required.
• One year COTA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT treatment under supervision across lifespan per treatment plans.
• Follow and implement the licensed therapist's treatment plans and standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes as required.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Provides treatment to patients across the life span (infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric) according to a current written treatment plan formulated by the Licensed Occupational Therapist within the scope of their licensure with the state of Texas and according to Tomball’s Occupational Therapy Standards.

What qualifications you will need:

• License / Certifications / Requirements:Requires current Texas licensure (COTA), and Basic Life Support certification.
• Education:Graduation from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Associate degree required
• Experience:One year of COTA experience is preferred.
