Job summary

Blackstone Valley Health & Rehabilitation in Whitinsville, MA is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed OT and help residents regain independence.

This flexible PRN role welcomes new grads, offers collaborative care with PTs, SLPs and nursing staff, and provides flexible scheduling plus opportunities for additional PRN shifts.

Qualifications

• Active MA COTA license required.
• Experience in skilled nursing preferred but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Assist residents with ADLs, upper extremity function, coordination, balance, and functional mobility.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by supervising OT.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy team.
• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and other team members to support resident goals.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation according to facility standards.

We are seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This flexible opportunity is ideal for clinicians looking to supplement their schedule while helping residents regain independence and improve their quality of life.

Position Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), upper extremity function, coordination, balance, and functional mobility.
• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate treatment updates to the therapy team.
• Collaborate with PTs, SLPs, nursing staff, and other interdisciplinary team members to support resident goals.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards.
