Job summary

Safire Rehab of Southtowns in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN opportunity. You will provide hands-on therapy and help residents improve daily living activities.

The role offers flexible PRN scheduling and a collaborative rehabilitation environment with opportunities to expand clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Active New York COTA license required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to quality, resident-centered care.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• New graduate COTAs are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, strengthening, coordination, balance, and functional tasks.
• Follow individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT.
• Monitor resident response to therapy and communicate progress to the clinical team.
• Reinforce adaptive techniques and strategies that promote safety and independence.
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams.

$30-$35/hour | PRN

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a PRN opportunity at Safire Rehab of Southtowns. This role offers scheduling flexibility while giving you the opportunity to provide hands-on therapy and help residents improve their ability to perform everyday activities.

What You'll Do
