Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification is required.
• California state licensure as a COTA is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assist residents with therapeutic activities and exercises to improve functional independence
• Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and equipment to support daily living
• Document treatment sessions accurately and track resident progress
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care
