• Implements intervention plans that are patient-centered and occupation-based, adjusting as needed.
• Demonstrates a sequential plan of treatment activities considering patient and family needs and time constraints.
• Adapts activities to meet physical, cognitive, and behavioral limitations.
• Collaborates with patient, family, and significant others throughout the occupational therapy process.
• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using effective teaching methods.
• Communicates progress and treatment recommendations with referring providers.
• Produces clear, objective documentation that supports decisions and payer information.
