Responsibilities

• Follows the therapist's plan of care.
• Adjusts the treatment based on patient response and communicates with the evaluating therapist.
• Implements patient-centered, occupation-based interventions and adapts activities to patient needs.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and others throughout the occupational therapy process.
• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and providers using effective teaching methods.
• Maintains clear, objective documentation to support decisions and payer needs.
• Engages in quality improvement activities and communicates progress with the care team.
• Delivers OT treatments such as ROM measurements, ADL training, ultrasound, and fluidotherapy; completes daily EMR notes.
