Job summary

Select Rehabilitation Hospital of Denton (Outpatient) is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Denton, Texas. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver individualized therapy to patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions in an outpatient setting.

This per diem role requires current state licensure or eligibility, BLS, and a commitment to patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a COTA.
• Certified BLS or completion within 90 days of employment as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducting individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT).
• Monitoring patient's response to treatment and modifying treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT.
• Completing appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
• Participating in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
