Job summary

Continuum Therapy Partners, LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Avalon Health and Rehab in Mt Vernon, OH. You will implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and help patients progress with adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in OTA, COTA license, and NBCOT certification, with prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in OTA required.
• Must hold current, unencumbered state COTA license; NBCOT certification required.
• One year of COTA experience preferred.
• Implements treatment plans under supervision of an OT.
• Documents progress and reports status changes to supervising OT.
• Educates patients on adaptive equipment and home exercise programs.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements & Responsibilities

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program required
• Current, unencumbered state COTA License; NBCOT Certification required
• 1 year of previous experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred
• Implements individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
