Job summary

Liberty Center is seeking a PRN COTA- Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team in Philadelphia. The role involves providing comprehensive therapy under OTR supervision, assisting with patient referrals to rehab, and documenting progress with OTR co-signature.

MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges must be obtained. Attendance at facility meetings and other duties may be assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must have a current COTA license.
• PRN position; flexibility to meet facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
