Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Lynchburg, TN is seeking a COTA to provide direct occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed OT and in accordance with all applicable laws and Life Care standards.

The role requires NBCOT certification upon hire, active state licensure, and CPR certification. New grads are welcome; one year of experience is preferred. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

NBCOT certified upon hire, but renewal is optional going forward.
Graduate of an accredited program in occupational therapy (ASOT).
Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

Follow occupational treatment plans for patients under the direction of the supervising OT.
Chart appropriately and timely.
Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
Assist in the evacuation of patients.
Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance.
Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
