Job summary

Beacon Health System is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will provide quality treatments to help patients regain function and independence after illness, injury, or surgery.

This role emphasizes collaboration in a patient-centered environment, with opportunities for mentorship, program development, and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Indiana COTA license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain within organizational guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve function, mobility, independence, and quality of life.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities, home programs, and adaptive techniques.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and compliance with standards.
