Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and licensed physician. You will deliver occupational therapy modalities per a treatment plan and help restore function for patients recovering from illness or injury.

Qualified candidates hold active COTA licensure and current BLS/CPR. Prior patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure/certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Previous experience in the care of patients preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, follows a treatment plan to restore function.
• Implements therapy modalities and documents patient progress.
• Communicates with supervising OTR/L and care team.
• Provides therapy to diverse diagnostic populations.
