Job summary

Ashford Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. You will assist the occupational therapist with treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide ongoing support to residents to ensure progress.

The ideal candidate has an OTA credential, at least 1 year of related experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. A valid driver's license is a plus for transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of OTA experience or similar role.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the occupational therapist with implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify residents' needs and goals.
• Provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure progress.
• Maintain accurate records of residents' interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Other duties as assigned.
