Job summary

OhioHealth at Home, in partnership with Compassus, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support OTs in delivering exceptional patient care. This role emphasizes using AI-supported tools to streamline notes, enabling more time for hands-on patient interaction.

Responsibilities include assisting therapy sessions, monitoring progress, and ensuring clear documentation while reducing administrative workload. Requires an OTA license and related experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Two years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment.
• Required within 30 days of hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Assist with therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
