Job summary

DFW Home Health in McKinney, TX is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our compassionate team. You will provide occupational therapy services in patients' homes under the supervision of an OT, helping individuals regain function and independence.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
• Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrate ability to work independently
• Good communication, writing, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients in home care under supervision of the OT
• Follow plan of care and state laws governing OT assistants
• Observe, record, and report patient progress to nurse supervisor and physician
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other health team members in therapy techniques
• Adapt to home environments and diverse patient needs
