Job summary

Vacaville Ranch Post-Acute in Vacaville, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT, helping residents regain functional independence. Candidates must hold a California COTA license and an associate degree; experience in skilled nursing is preferred, with new graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Active California COTA license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited COTA program.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred, but new graduates and newly licensed assistants are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of PDPM and basic documentation standards.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to resident-centered care.
• Physical ability to safely assist residents with mobility and therapeutic exercises.
