Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, at Wellbrooke of Avon in Avon, IN, seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The OTA will assist with treatment plans, ADL training, and progress documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have OTA licensure or certification in the state.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Document patient responses, progress, and report findings to the supervising therapist.
• Provide education to patients and families on home exercises and strategies for progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Support therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress.
