Job summary

Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN roles. You will provide treatment under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and ensure progress is documented weekly.

Qualifications

• Requires valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Occupational Therapist
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required
• Well versed with documentation writing
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress notes in a timely fashion
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient-centered treatment and care
• Exceptional patient service skills and clinical excellence
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours with professionalism
• Perform all other duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under OT supervision
• Provide treatment tailored to goals developed by the OT
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of patient progress
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure holistic care
• Support the Rehabilitation department leadership and comply with facility policies
